IFC to increase LatAm focus

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) plans to increase the number of investments it makes in Latin America to better balance an investment portfolio currently skewed towards Africa.

About a third of its portfolio of about 30 projects representing some 20-25% in dollar terms are currently investments in Latin America spread over 11 projects, eight of which are exploration projects....
