Ivanhoe shares retrace steps

Shares in African-focused Ivanhoe Mines (TSX: IVN) started to rise last week after the company moved to reassure investors – and rose higher again on news of a new mining body designed to “engage” with the Democratic Republic of Congo over its new mining code.
