The company operates in Sub-Sahara, West and Central African Countries and has its headquarters in Mauritius, with regional offices in Accra, Ghana, Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. The Company was established in 2000 and has grown through Skill of its management, Knowledge and Experience, both in its core business activities and its ability to operate in the Sub-Sahara region.
Banlaw builds Mines and carries out Contract Mining and has successfully completed many contracts as main contractor in the fields of Earthworks, Infrastructure, Civil Works and Joint Management of Mine Construction Projects with EPCM Companies. Other areas of expertise include, mine infrastructure maintenance, Geotechnical and Geodetic Services as well as Joint Venture Mining.
The Company has in depth experience in African Logistics, Operating Procedures, Mining Codes and Management. It also has the support of its own in house fleet of Earthmoving Equipment, including, Excavators, Rigid Haul Trucks, Articulated Trucks, Motor Scrapers, Dozers, Motor Graders, Material Processing Equipment and More.
Co-founder Richard Levack, heads a strong management team of Expatriates gathered from around the world as well as qualified and experienced African Nationals, to enable Banlaw to provide high quality services to the Mines of Sub-Saharan Africa.
