Its origins date back to 1657.
Land on which there were coal deposits belonged to the sickbay of the forest in Tychy, and kicked him in the Murckach (half a mile Kostuchny) in the place called Rudna Kotliska, where the coal went to the surface and therefore be easy to extract.
