Since commencing production in 2006, Silvercorp has enjoyed high profitability and returns due to the exceptionally high-grade nature of its Ying deposit and the incredibly low-cost jurisdiction in which it operates. The company is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada and the New York Stock Exchange in the US and is a component of the S&P/TSX Composite and Global Mining Indexes.
