Kinross and Agnico strike White Gold

Canada’s Kinross Gold Corp (CN:K) has agreed to sell its White Gold project in Canada’s Yukon Territory to junior White Gold Corp (CN:WGO) in exchange for up to C$25 million (US$18 million) and a 19.9% stake in the company. Agnico-Eagle Mines (CN:AEM) will also take a small piece of White Gold as part of the deal.
