Blue sky in Anglo's 'reimagined' mines

Anglo American global head of processing Natascha Viljoen says the sky is the limit for business improvements linked to the company’s FutureSmart programme, with US$3-4 billion of operational gains expected by 2022 “certainly not where our value creation ends”. Her presentation at the Austmine 2019 conference in Australia came after an analyst briefing by senior management in London had one bank analyst talking about a “mining unicorn”.
