Adelaide, South Australia, based Chrysos Corporation’s PhotonAssay technology has already won funding and validation support from Newcrest Mining, BHP Billiton and the SA Government. Investors include RFC Ambrian, former Barrick Gold president Anthony McLellan and major shareholder, CSIRO. It aims to deliver its first high-throughput analytical unit in late 2017 before rolling out smaller systems for mine-site operations the following year.
