Namibia’s economy, like that of Botswana, has been adversely affected by the fall in global diamond demand and lower base metals prices. But in the second part of a two-part feature, Roger Murray explains that the ongoing expansion of existing uranium mines and the opening of new ones in response to growing world demand for nuclear fuel will spearhead renewed economic growth from 2010.
