Vox buys royalties from individual prospector

Toronto-based Vox Royalty has signed a deal to buy three Canadian gold royalties from an individual prospector for a total consideration of up to C$1.8 million (US$1.43 million), the company said.

The royalties include a 1% net smelter returns royalty over part of the Goldlund project in Ontario, operated by Treasury Metals; an effective 0.6% NSR over the Beschefer project in Quebec, operated by Goldseek Resources under option from Wallbridge Mining; and all personal rights held to a 1.5% NSR over the Gold River deposit in Ontario, which is a satellite deposit to the Timmins West mine, operated by Pan American Silver.

Vox's chief investment officer Spencer Cole said that the royalties offer "significant near-term exploration and development catalysts for Vox shareholders".

"Over the next 18 months, we expect a construction decision at Goldlund, a maiden resource statement at Beschefer and extensive discovery newsflow," he said.

Vox's share price traded at C$3.25 on June 6, having risen 2% day on day. The company has a market capitalization of C$144.28 million.
