Mining Journal Outstanding Achievement Awards

At a black-tie dinner in London on Wednesday evening, Mining Journal announced its Outstanding Achievement Awards for 2009. The winners, in seven categories were based on nominates by Mining Journal readers, and followed three weeks of online voting.
The event was hosted by John Humphrys, one of Britain's best known and most controversial broadcasters.
