Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd listed on London`s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) on 8 November 2007 with the ticker symbol CGH. The Company has a 100% interest in the 604 square kilometre  Chaarat exploration licence, which covers an area of extensive gold mineralisation, within the Tien Shan Gold Belt, in western Kyrgyzstan. 28 gold occurrences along a 40km showing are known within the licence area.

At the latest resource calculation in April 2008, in respect of the 2007 exploration season, the company had a JORC compliant gold resource of 3.14 million ounces at a grade of 4.41 g/t  in eleven project areas within the licence. The split between the Indicated and Inferred categories is 2.2 million ounces and 0.9 million ounces.
