Wits Gold (JSE: WGR; TSX: WGR) is a gold and uranium exploration company with assets located in the Witwatersrand Basin in South Africa.
Wits Gold is currently focused on two advanced exploration projects, DBM and Bloemhoek, in the southern Free State goldfield. Following the release of positive scoping study results at DBM in June 2011, the Company immediately commenced with a pre-feasibility study. This study will aim to further optimise the mine design and financial returns from the DBM orebody that is most likely to be South Africa´s next shallow gold mine.
