Lead Joint Venture Project – Wate Breccia Pipe
During 2009 VANE undertook an extensive drilling campaign at the Wate Breccia pipe and is on target to produce a NI 43-101 resource during Q1 of 2010.
Best drilling results include:
30.5 feet of 1.87% eU3O8, including 12 feet of 3.67% eU3O8
25.5 feet of 0.47% eU3O8
25.0 feet of 0.22% eU3O8
The historic resource calculated for Wate by the Arizona State Land Department in 1998 was stated in three cases as laid out below:
Conservative: 70,250t @ 0.80% eU3O8 for 1,124,000 pounds U3O8
Base: 114,872t @ 0.83% eU3O8 for 1,916,863 pounds U3O8
High: 146,122 @ 0.83% eU3O8 for 2,416,863 pounds U3O8
