Fewer, larger PE firms to emerge

The number of active private equity firms in the mining space is likely to shrink over the next few years, as their backers vote with their feet on the performance of the early investment rounds. But this doesn’t mean the demise of this form of financing. In fact, it could signal the start of a new phase of growth.
