Lydian hires general manager to steer Amulsar

Lydian International (CN:LYD) has appointed Rodney Stuparyk as general manager of the company’s 100-owned Amulsar gold project in Armenia.

He will lead the transition from construction to commissioning to operational and, thereafter, will oversee all operational activities.

Stuparyk has 25 years' experience in mining and was most recently vice president of risk, compliance and sustainable development at Centerra Gold's (CN:CG) Kumtor gold mine in Kyrgyzstan.

Prior to his 20 years at Centerra, he held technical roles at INCO, now Vale (US:VALE).
