Altus changes board, management after Legend buy

Altus Strategies (LN:ALS) has made a number of management and board changes after successfully acquiring Toronto-listed Legend Gold.

Altus has added new management and board members after its acquisition of Legend Gold

It has appointed David Miles as CFO to replace Jeffrey Karoly, who has resigned, Michael Winn as director and member of the audit and remuneration committee, Demetrius Pohl as strategic adviser and Ambogo Guindo as business development adviser in Mali.

Miles has over 20 years experience in large multinational companies. He is CFO of Lara Exploration (CN:LRA) and was formerly CFO of Legend and a number of other TSX-V-listed companies.

Winn was Legend's chairman and CEO, while Pohl worked for several major mining companies, including BHP (LN:BLT). He was most recently vice president of exploration at Legend and is a director of Rhyolite Resources (CN:RYE).

Guindo, Legend's VP of business development, has experience in gold exploration in Mali, where he worked as a government and United Nations development programme geologist.
