KEFI separates chairman, MD roles

KEFI Minerals (AIM:KEFI) has decided to separate its executive chairman and managing director roles to strengthen its corporate governance as it transitions into the mine build and operational phases of the Tulu Kapi gold project in Ethiopia.

Harry Anagnostaras-Adams will not assume the sole role of managing director

Both roles had been filled by Harry Anagnostaras-Adams since late 2014, who will now take on the sole role of managing director.

Meanwhile, deputy chairman and senior independent non-executive director Mark Wellesley-Wood has been chosen as KEFI's non-executive chairman.

He has been on KEFI's board since August 2015.
