Executive changes for Chaarat

Kyrgyz Republic-focused exploration and development company Chaarat Gold (AIM:CGH) has appointed a new CFO, head of strategy and business development, and technical director.

Chaarat has chosen Christopher Eger as its new CFO

The new CFO, Christopher Eger, was previously CFO of Nyrstar and has over 20 years' experience in investment banking, metals trading and private equity.

He will replace outgoing CFO Pete Gardner.

Eger's previous roles include M&A director at Trafigura, a member of the investment banking group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and director in BMO Capital Markets' global metals and mining group.

Dmitry Yudin, the new head of strategy and business development, was previously managing partner at ACG Amur Capital Group, which he co-founded, and before that was a senior M&A and strategy executive at UC RUSAL and En+ Group.

He will take charge of Chaarat's M&A pipeline execution.

Chaarat non-executive director Dorian Nicol has moved to become technical director and head of exploration, an executive position.

He has over 40 years' experience in the mining sector and has supported the exploration and construction of the Tulkubash project and the development of the Chaarat deposit.
