Mongolia works to restore mining allure

The newly ratified Canada-Mongolia Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA) is the latest in a series of fast steps by the recently elected Erdenebayar government toward improving Mongolia’s foreign investment appeal and giving it a better chance of participating in the next global mining investment surge, the country’s mining minister told Mining Journal in Toronto.
