Chaarat makes another executive change

Gold exploration and development company Chaarat (LN:CGH) has made another change to its senior management team by naming Pete Gardner as its CFO designate, with his appointment to start on July 1.

He will enhance the miner's investor relations activities and lead the advanced project finance process for the construction of the Tulkubash heap leach project in the Kyrgyz Republic, along with Chaarat chairman Martin Andersson and Endeavour Financial.
 
Gardner was previously finance director of Amara Mining from 2009 until it was sold to Perseus Mining (AU:PRU) in 2016.
 
Chaarat's outgoing CFO, Linda Naylor, will remain company secretary once Gardner takes over the role in mid-2018. 
 
This is not the first time this year Chaarat has replaced one of its senior executives. In July, company co-founder Dekel Golan was moved from his CEO role to the deputy chairman position and replaced with COO Robert Benbow. The former subsequently resigned recently
