Under the original deal structure - that was born from a 2009 bilateral mining cooperation agreement between the governments of Chile and Ecuador - Enami would own 51% of the JV company at Llurimagua with Codelco holding 49%. Local press reports that Codelco is seeking to renegotiate the terms to obtain a 100% interest in the project.
