ICMM to review tailings facilities

Fresh off the back of a tailings dam spill at Vale and BHP Billiton's joint owned Samarco iron ore operations in Brazil, the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) has announced it will carry out a global review of tailings storage facilities and critical controls.
