This week's Mining Journal includes a report on the recent Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada convention.

In the keynote presentation, Jan Klawitter of the World Economic Forum set out the results of the organisation's year-long dialogue with business, governments, non-governmental organisations and academia concerning where the mining and metals industry might be in 20 years' time.

The organisation's three scenarios are now being put to businesses for them to think about the challenges and opportunities of each. These are summarised in a publication and short video, available from:
