Swick maintains earnings growth

Leading specialised drilling contractor Swick Mining Services’ turnaround strategy is on track, the company said today, with its unaudited results for the December quarter showing significant growth in earnings compared with a year earlier, on a modest rise in revenue.

Consolidated earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were A$8.7 million, up 102% in the same period a year earlier, with EBIT swinging from a loss of $100,000 to a positive $3.2 million....
