The Berenguela Copper Silver Project (“Berenguela” or the “Project”) is an advanced stage exploration project in the Puno Department of southern Peru. Berenguela has JORC (2012) compliant Resources of (0.50% CuEq cut-off):
Indicated: 22.61 million tonnes at 1.00% Cu and 113.91 g/t Ag and 0.36% Zn.
Inferred: 2.92 million tonnes at 1.01% Cu and 105.70 g/t Ag and 0.23% Zn.
TOTAL: 25.53 million tonnes at 1.00% Cu and 112.97 g/t Ag and 0.35% Zn.
Total JORC Resources include over 564 million pounds of Contained Copper and over 93 million ounces of Contained Silver.
Valor has completed over 9,100 meters of infill and expansion drilling, building on Berenguela's extensive exploration history, which includes over 30,000 meters of historical drilling, 2 geophysical campaigns, 17,000 meters of underground workings and a significant metallurgical data set. The Project has significant potential for resource expansion, as the current deposit only occupies approximately 2.1% of the total 6,594-hectare land package. The Project is accessible year-round and has excellent access to infrastructure approximately 50km from the provincial city of Juliaca (pop. ~225k). Berenguela has access to power, water and is connected to Juliaca and Arequipa (pop. ~870k) by paved highways. A main rail line runs within the southern boundary of the Project land package, which runs approximately 380km to the Port of Matarani, a major commercial port on Peru’s southern coast.
