Shanta to bounce back after half-time

Tanzania-focused gold producer Shanta Gold has finished the second quarter with a flourish having spent most of the first half grafting away at a redesigned and re-optimised mine plan to better suit the current gold price environment.

The London-listed junior racked up a little over 14,500 ounces at its New Luika mine in the second quarter to end-June with more half those ounces coming in the final month of the period as the operation...
