Pan African Resources CEO Cobus Loots has told Mining Journal the company is in recovery mode following a weak year when profits fell 50% due to the lower grade mining cycle at Evander in South Africa.

He said: “We are out of the low grade area now [4.6g/t]. The market is waiting to see if we have fixed Evander [grade to reach 7g/t].
