Central Asia Metals roars ahead

It’s all systems go for AIM-listed Central Asia Metals, which owns the Kounrad copper project in Kazakhstan. The company has reported first quarter production numbers which showed output at 2,350 tonnes, 23% ahead of the same time in 2014.

The increase was largely due to expansion of boiler-house capacity to 14MW, facilitating higher solution volume treatment rates during winter months.
