Japan moving full-speed ahead towards 'hydrogen society'

Since the Fukushima disaster in 2011 Japan’s energy market has been forced to drastically revise its energy policy and the government is pinning its hopes on a future full of hydrogen.

Toyota commenced sales of the world’s first fuel cell vehicle (FCV) in December 2014, with Honda quickly following suit and announcing its plans to start selling FCVs in 2015.
