Ariana's Venus acquisition targets Cyprus copper, gold

Turkey-focused gold miner Ariana Resources has acquired a 50% stake in Venus Minerals, a Cyprus-focused exploration and development company, for €2.4 million. The move will allow Ariana to explore the island for gold and copper – including areas neglected since the Turkish military intervention in 1974.
