Specialist CO2 emissions consulting firm Skarn Associates said miner’s adoption of renewable power purchase agreements (PPAs) were not an attempt at greenwashing their CO2 emissions figures if the renewable energy the PPAs are based upon are lined to tangible renewable capacity.
