Polyus rejects Kerimov takeover bid

Russia’s Polyus Gold has rejected a revised offer for the company from the billionaire Kerimov family, its largest shareholder with 40%, saying it “materially undervalues” the group.

The Kerimov vehicle, Wandle, said it would offer US$2.97 per share in cash, valuing the group at $9 billion.
