Petropavlovsk (LN:POG) CEO Pavel Maslovskiy has quit weeks after major investors forced out fellow co-founder Peter Hambro and four more directors.

Maslovskiy ran the Russian gold miner from 1994 to 2011, when he stepped down for three years to join the Russian upper house before coming back to the job.
