Pan African Resources advises share fall

South Africa-based gold mining group Pan African Resources (SJ:PAN) has had to advise shareholders of expected falls to its share earnings for the financial year ended June 30 on the sale of the non-core Phoenix Platinum and Uitkomst coal colliery asstes, as well as the South African rand appreciating against the Great British pound.

Pan African Resources has sold non-core assets to focus on gold

It expects basic earnings per share to fall 29-39% year-on-year to R0.183-0.2132 (US$0.0139-0.0161), with headline earning down 28-38% to R0.1866-0.2168/share.
