Some 83,000m was drilled at the Quebec project in 2017, all focused on expansion and exploration of the New Beliveau deposit and other gold zones along a 2.5km strike length within the Pascalis trend.

The most recent highlights include an 83.1m hit grading 3g/t from 7.4m depth, including 11.4m at 10.8g/t, and a 3.5m length averaging 8.1g/t from 77m depth.

While the former hole will get the headlines - and is where the main dyke looks to have been extended 300m to the south of the past-producing Beliveau mine - the latter is also significant.

Probe said the 3.5m interval was drilled 150-200m east of the South Zone discovery hole, meaning there could plenty more gold mineralisation where this came from.

An update to the existing 770,000 ounce resource grading 2.63g/t may be the next milestone, but the company has already planned an 85,000m resource expansion campaign this year.

Probe clearly thinks New Beliveau has plenty of room to grow.
