It said the 18-hole 2,278m step-out and infill drilling programme had yielded multiple high-grade intercepts, including 10m at 4.69g/t gold from 57m.

Other significant results were 5m at 4.48g/t Au from 35m; 4m at 5.30 g/t Au from 26m; 2m at 9.30g/t Au from 80m; 3m at 6.01g/t Au from 10m; 7m at 2.54g/t Au from 21m; 3m at 4.69g/t Au from 29m; and 2m at 6.61g/t Au from 25m.

The results are part of a resource infill and extension programme aimed at increasing Warrawoona's current JORC-compliant 712,000 ounce gold resource to over 1 million ounces as it puts together a prefeasibility study for 2019.

CEO Russell Lamming said the results underpinned the potential to build on the current resource.

Keras's shares were at 0.36p (US0.48c) Friday, up 9%, while Calidus closed 3.7% lower in Australian trading at A2.6c (US1.85c).
