Lake surges on pilot pond-free lithium production success

ASX-listed Lake Resource’s stock price strengthened Monday as the company announced the advancement of its Kachi lithium brine project in Argentina from its pilot stage, positioning it to become the first in South America to produce lithium commercially without evaporation ponds.

 It’s the first successful implementation of ion exchange for lithium production in South America, home to most of the world’s lithium brine resources, Lake and Lilac said.
