Mukazhanov exits Petropavlovsk with Fincraft

Non-executive director and Fincraft representative Bektas Mukazhanov has left the Petropavlovsk board following Fincraft’s recent exit from the gold miner’s share register. Aeon Corporation has replaced Fincraft (22%) as Petropavlovsk’s main shareholder after Kazakh billionaire Kenges Rakishev’s departure for “commercial reasons”.

Aeon is controlled by Russian billionaire, Roman Trotsenko.

Petropavlovsk CEO Pavel Maslovskiy said Mukazhanov made an "informed and constructive contribution" on the board. He looked "forward to engaging" with the new major shareholder to build a "constructive relationship".
