The company said a loader operating underground killed the driver, prompting a suspension of activities for an operation-wide ‘safety day' and while a formal investigation led by government and local authorities took place.

For 2019, San Jose is expected to produce 7.3-8.1Moz silver and 49,000-54,000oz gold at all-in sustaining cost of US$8.30-$10.20/oz of silver.
