Metals prices and flow-through supercharge Quebec exploration

Quebec has been a stalwart of Canada’s gold production for decades with the Abitibi Greenstone Belt recognised as a world class production centre famous for its deep high-grade mines around Val d’Or, Rouyn-Noranda and Chibougamau. Exploration is also successfully pushing north with companies acquiring large land packages to explore other belts, often under geological cover.
