Friedland: Carbon footprint will be priced into copper

Robert Friedland, executive co-chair of Ivanhoe Mines, says the carbon footprint of copper production will eventually be priced into copper, enabling buyers to better evaluate how much the metal contributes to the environmental impact of their products, which will become increasingly important in product categories such as electric vehicles.
