Goodlace joined the mining executive ranks in 2008 as chief executive officer of Gold Fields and served as Impala Platinum CEO for four years until 2016.

He has previously been a director at Impala and its Zimplats subsidiary, and is currently on the Gold Fields and Kumba Iron Ore boards.

AfriTin CEO Anthony Viljoen said Goodlace's development experience had got him onto the board of the Bushveld spinoff.

"Terence brings a wealth of experience to an already strong board, with a particular emphasis on mine development and management," he said.

"As the company continues its rapid transition from an exploration and development company into a full scale tin miner, Terence's experience will be valuable in assisting the technical team in driving the company's objectives forward."
