Rio appoints diversity champion as chief legal officer

Rio Tinto has appointed Isabelle Deschamps, currently general counsel at Dutch chemicals firm AkzoNobel and who Rio said was the “driving force” behind the company’s diversity and inclusion programme, to be its new chief legal officer.
