Mining in Zimbabwe: new grounds for optimism?

The recent political upheaval in Zimbabwe has resulted in suggestions the obstacles to investment in the mining industry will become less difficult to surmount. Whether or not that upheaval will result in changes to the domestic agenda as profound as have been speculated by some is not yet clear, but the potential for significant development is certainly present if change is on the horizon.
