China invests US$1.5bn in Teck

CHINA Investment Corp (CIC) has agreed to invest C$1.74 billion (US$1.5 billion) in Teck Resources Ltd, taking a 17.2% stake in the Vancouver-based diversified producer. CIC will buy 101.
