South Africa miners call out 'outrageous' pay demands

Three of South Africa’s prominent mining companies, Impala Platinum, Sibanye-Stillwater and Anglo American Platinum, have downplayed the threat of strike action as new pay negotiations with the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU) open with “outrageous” wage demands.
