Pan American profits jump, dividend increased

Pan American Silver has reported a 267% jump in net income to US$71.2 million on sales of $382.1 million in the three months to June 30 compared with $19.4 million in the prior year period due to greater silver and gold production as well as higher prices for all the metals it produces.
