Canada's Agnico hikes investment in Val-d'Or junior

Canadian gold miner Agnico Eagle Mines has increased its shareholding in Toronto-listed junior Cartier Resources which is exploring Quebec’s Val-d’Or region and aiming to re-start the Chimo gold mine.
