Re-instate the uptick rule

Last year was the year the Canadian market dropped like a stone, posting the world’s third-worst decline – eclipsed only by Singapore and Greece. This year has opened with the Toronto Stock Exchange dropping another 1,000 points, while the TSX’s Venture exchange continues its five year slump. As we write, the markets have clawed back some of these losses, indicating a market bottom or a bear market rally.
